This is poster we created for our light box project. For this project we were most interested in bouncing white light off of a colored piece of paper to see if it would change the colors of other colored pieces of paper. We found out that you have to be very specific in you choice of colors if you want to see differences. We chose a red paper to bounce light off of and yellow, brown, and blue papers for the bounced surface. We found that the yellow paper appeared orange, the brown paper appeared more red and the blue paper appeared cyan. This last one was the best surprise and also the most difficult to achieve. Overall, we learned that is it much more difficult to control the patterns and color in reflected light than we thought it would be.
